Richard C. Cosner, 83 of Lucinda, and formerly of Lake City and Conneaut, OH., died Saturday September 9, 2017 at his son's home in Lucinda, Pa.
He was born May 17, 1934 in Kingsville, OH, a son of William and Helen (Weaver) Cosner.
Richard graduated from West Springfield Township High School in 1954. Following high school he worked as a coal truck driver in the area and then at RP & C Valve. Most recently he had been employed at American Sterilizer as a machinist.
He was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Conneaut, OH and a member of the Clarion American Legion Post #66. He loved boating and fishing on Lake Erie and enjoyed hunting and tinkering with his old John Deere tractor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jeannette ( Hinkle) Cosner; a son, Scott Cosner and a Brother, Howard Cosner.
He will be greatly missed by his Four Sons, Robert (Diane) Cosner of Lucinda, PA, Blaine (Dixie) Cosner of Lake City, and John Cosner of Columbus, OH; Brother, Donald (Peggy) Cosner; Grandson, Robert Cosner, Jr. and Granddaughters, Felicia Davis and Destiny Dubensky.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. at Edder Funeral Home, Inc., 309 Main St. East, Girard with Rev. Gabriel Clyde officiating.
Burial will be in the Girard Cemetery.
