Rebecca A. Foye

Rebecca  A. Foye, 79, of Erie, passed away on  February 9, 2018 at Golden Living Western Reserve.   
  She was born on October 12, 1938 to the late Frank and Agnes (Brennen) Foye in Girard, PA. She attended Rice Avenue Union High School.  After high school Rebecca worked at Marx Toys and C.G. Woods.  She also worked for Plastek Industries as a machine operator for 23 years, retiring from there in 2002.    
  She was a member of the Girard Presbyterian Church.  Rebecca was an avid reader, always known to enjoy a good mystery novel.  She especially loved to write poetry and enjoyed music, sewing, and collecting owls.    
  Rebecca  is survived by her daughters, Kathryn Wiltse (William) and Betsy Rhodes (Eric) both of Erie; sister-in-law, Lisa Foye; brother, Richard Foye (Lydia); grandchildren, Jason Rhodes (Nikki), Kristy McQueeney (Mike), Mindy Marshall (Brian), Andrew Wiltse, Brandon Rhodes, and Ryan Rhodes (Kate); six great-grandchildren; and several nephews.  Rebecca held a special place in her heart for a family friend, Carol Wurst and her late grandmother, Nana Brennan. 
  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lynette Foye and brother, Roger Foye, Sr. 

  At Rebecca's request, there will be no calling hours observed. The burial will be private.
