Nelson F. Fiesler, 78, of Girard, passed away on March 28, 2017 at his residence.

He was born on April 19, 1938 to the late John and Edna (Amy) Fiesler in Erie, PA. Nelson worked as a carpenter and was also a Fireman with the A.F. Dobler Hose Fire and Ladder Company.

He was a member of the Lake City Presbyterian Church, Carpenter's Union 81, and the IOOF Nickel Plate Lodge #1125 in Girard.

Nelson is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Rose (Killian) Fiesler, daughter, Kathy Britt; son, Robert Fiesler (Juanita); two sisters, Bonnie Lou Dombrowski and Eva Hellyer (Bill); two brothers, Ross Fiesler (Shirley) and Jim Fiesler. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Victoria DiNunzio (Damion), Nicole Britt, John and Sam Fiesler, four great-grandchildren, Aurora, Desi, Vinny, and Freya DiNunzio.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Alice Fiesler, Gertrude Taft, and Annie Robinson, and brothers, Carl Fiesler, John Fiesler, and Harry Fiesler.

Visitation will be held Sunday, April 2, 2017, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Edder Funeral Home Inc., Girard, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation, 4401 Penn Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15224.
