My deepest condolences to George's family and friends. George was my cousin of closest age, 2 months older than me. I remember vividly our visit to his parent's home in Fairview in November 1963 during the time of the Kennedy assassination. We all watched with shock at the Fire Station the murder of Lee Harvey Oswald by Jack Ruby on live TV on CBS. We were in the 8th grade and George was quite enthusiastic about basketball at the time and in the throngs of trying out for the school team. We had spirited arguments over who was the better band, the Beatles or the Beach Boys of whom he was most fond. Unfortunately, time and geographical distance inhibited our ever getting together again; sad, because I share a similar love of automobiles and drag racing, though not to the participatory extent that George engaged in them, and I'm sure our discussions about them would have been just as spirited as those we had about music. God Bless you George!

I am so sorry for your loss. George was a great pal growing up. We spent time together as Boy Scouts and classmates at FHS. Many adventures, many great memories including the time he was the minister for my wedding in the Home and Family Living class. Too many years between visits...you will be missed.

So very sorry for your lost. What a wonderful person George was and how he truly touched people. He was one of a kind - someone you could always count on - and made you feel better knowing him. It gives me a long pause to realize he is no longer with us - it was an honor to know him. He will be really missed.

My deepest condolences to Campbell family. I never laughed so much hanging with Chuckster either golfing, happy hour or his Xmas parties. God, and all those heaven-sent, now will enjoy his company, big time. God Bless.

My deepest sympathy in hearing of George's passing. No matter how bad claim might get and someone may have done something wrong, George would say "we can fix this, it's not a cigarette and blind fold situation". I loved his humor and he will be truly missed.

My sincere condolences to George's family. May you all find comfort in the memories you share of George. Although it has been many years since I have seen my cousin, I have fond memories of visits at our grandparents' home and a wonderful time with his family when I returned to Pennsylvania to attend Penn State. Love, Sylvia

To Sandy and all in the Family of George Campbell II: We are saddened that Chuckster passed away after fighting such a courageous battle. i am privileged to have known him and enjoyed many great experiences in his presence. His sharp wit was ever-present and added to all gatherings. He touched a multitude of lives in a very positive way, and he inspired all of us. He is sorely missed as he was one of a kind. he may be gone from this world, but Heaven added a class soul to the group. He will always be remembered in our hearts and thus, never forgotten.
Our prayers and deepest condolences are with all of you at this time of sorrow and loss. may he keep the Stairway to heaven open for us to follow him home at some point.
Sincerely,
Norm and Patty Flick
