Delvin F. Myers, 80 of Albion, passed away on Friday June 9, 2017 at Fairview Manor.
 He was born on November 3, 1936 in Pittsburgh, Pa., to the late Delvin C. and Ruth (Mikesell) Myers.
 Delvin enlisted in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict, and served aboard the USS Destroyer Gyatt and the USS Destroyer Volgelsang. He was deployed to the Mediterranean, Cuba and France. Following his discharge from the military, he returned to the Erie area and worked for A.O. Smith (now FMC Technologies) as a machinist, retiring in 1997.
 In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn (Heck) Myers in 2004. They were married on May 10, 1972 in Erie. He was also preceded by his son, Dale Scott Myers; his sister, Carolyn Towne and his companion, Betty L. Beason.
 Delvin will be greatly missed by his family which include his daughters, Lori of Morgantown, WV, and Holly of TX.; his son, Todd Myers of OH;  half sisters, Martha, Patty, Sharon, Grace and Geraldine. Also surviving are his stepchildren, Debbora Salow (Mark) of Arizona City, AZ., Jeffery Pattison of Ocklawaha, Fl.; his brother, J.R. Myers of Erie; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
 There will be no calling hours observed.
 Services were held privately by the family.
