Clinton "Clint" E. Weaver, 68, of Girard, died Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at his home following a lengthy illness.
He was born July 12, 1951 in Meadville, a son of the late Clifford L. and Lulua (Shields) Weaver.
Clint was raised and educated in the Stoneboro and Sandy Lake area, attending Lakeview High School. As a young man he worked hauling milk for local dairies and also operated his own saw mill in the Meadville area. He also worked at Channel-Lock in Meadville and most recently had been an over the road truck driver.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing; loved blue grass music and especially listening to Lester Flat, Earl Scruggs and Bill Monroe. He loved life and doted on his family. He enjoyed having cookouts and great times with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth M. Weaver in 2015, also by a brother, Clayton Weaver.
He will be greatly missed by his family, which include two sons, Clinton E. Weaver, Jr., Bret A. Weaver; a sister, Carolyn E. Clark; a brother, Cliffton "Skip" Weaver; his grandchildren, Diamond, Amathist, Christian, Blaze, Jasmine, Dominick and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Edder Funeral Home, Inc., 309 Main St. East, Girard and are invited to attend services there on Saturday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Andrew Verner, officiating.
Burial will be in the Girard Cemetery.
