Robin Edinger Obituary

Robin M. Edinger, 62, passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, March 30, 2024.

Born July 14, 1961, to James and Conchita (Menendez) Bebko, Robin grew up in Erie and, at an early age, began working at General Electric. Over the span of more than three decades, she traversed through various roles, beginning as an assembler on the floor, working in numerous different buildings, and ultimately culminated her career in the highly technical engine testing facility at the plant. Although she showed great dedication toward her work, Robin's heart truly resided in the embrace of her family. A devoted and nurturing grandmother, she spent most of her off-time caring for her loved ones, providing guidance to her children, and spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren, whom she loved so dearly. With unmatched generosity and consideration for those she loved, Robin frequently purchased gifts and provided financial, emotional, and spiritual support for family and friends. Having a great sense of humor, as well as a lighthearted nature, Robin loved feel-good films, comedy sitcoms, and often delighted her family with humorous gifts and playful pranks, spreading joy to all she encountered. Robin’s caring spirit and unrelenting support for the people whom she loved will forever be missed and never forgotten.

Beyond her familial duties, Robin's culinary skills were celebrated, with her creations never failing to satisfy those around her table. Robin loved sharing recipes and cooking and baking tips, all while frequently providing the “favorite” dishes and desserts of all who gathered in her home. Always a place of peace and comfort, her home was routinely adorned with fine decor, mirroring the holiday season or the ever-changing beauty of the world outside, an appreciation for life's simple pleasures. Above all, throughout life's trials and tribulations, Robin's family and steadfast faith served as her guiding light.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Bebko, her stepfather Edward Deleo, and her brother, David Bebko, in infancy.

She will be greatly missed by her family which includes her daughter, Nikol Lybrook (Chuck Cook Jr); grandchildren, Elle and Wyatt Cook; her son, Jake Lybrook (Sarah Lybrook); grandchildren, Layla, Allison, and Weston Lybrook; as well as her siblings, James Bebko (Maria Bebko), Steve Bebko, Melissa King, Pamela Hall, and David Bebko; her mother, Connie Deleo (Menedez); and stepmother, Sandra Bebko.
