Patricia Ann Lasher

Patricia Ann Lasher (Lyle), 74, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital.

Patty was a daughter of the late Chester and Jayne (Sheehan) Lyle, born on September 24, 1949.

She was a graduate of McDowell High School in 1968. During her time in high school, she worked as a nurse's aide at a local nursing home. Later, she would move on to Millcreek Community Hospital as a nurse's aide and would transition to an endoscopy technician. After close to 20 years at Millcreek, she would move to Village SurgiCenter of Erie. Patty worked as an endoscopy tech for over 40 years.

In her free time, Patty enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and knitting for her church and for friends. She also loved going on rides around the peninsula and sitting in the sun. Patty was an avid traveler as well, taking trips to Europe, especially being with her "red hat girls". She was also a devoted servant to the Lakewood United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, Patty is preceded in death by her sister, Yukona Slattery.

Patty will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Russell W. Lasher; stepsons, Alan, Robert, and William Lasher; stepdaughters, Debra Leicht, Doreen Strait, Diane, and Darla Lasher; nieces, Sherry Waller (David) and Stacy Stoner (Rick); great-niece, Audrey Goett; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many great friends.

Friends may call on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. with a funeral service the next day, May 1, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Edder Funeral Home. Burial will occur at Hope Cemetery following the service.
