Betty was a lifelong resident of the area, graduating from Girard High School, Behrend Center, and also had a nursing degree from St. Vincent in earlier years. She retired in 2000 after 28 years as Secretary/Treasurer of Girard Township. Norbert Phillip Boucher, 88, of Lake City, died on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Saint Vincent Hospital, following a sudden illness.  Norbert was born on July 6, 1935 in Zurich, Kansas to the late Hector and Celia Gangnon Boucher.
