Tracy D. Howard, 58, of East Springfield, died on Monday, October 2, 2017 in Girard as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
 He was born October 5, 1958, in Erie, a son of the late Donald B. and Marian E. (Richter) Howard.
 Tracy graduated from Girard High School in 1976. Immediately after high school he worked at Copes Vulcan in Lake City.  He began flight training following his first sky-diving experience, where he fell in love with flying. He received his Private Pilots License as a young man and also became a Certified Flight Instructor. Tracy became a Commercial Pilot, and began his career flying for Erie Airways later Eastwind Airlines, Snap-Tite Inc., Seco/Warwick Corp., and currently employed as a pilot for Ainsworth Pet Nutrition, Great Lakes Case and Cabinet and Channel-Lock.
 He was a member of the Girard American Legion Post #494 Sons of the American Legion; loved golfing; enjoyed snowmobiling and was a member of the Triangle “S” Snowmobile Club and the New York Snowmobile Association.
 Tracy will be greatly missed by his family, which include his wife, Roxanne (Robertson) Fisher Howard, whom he married June 13, 1992 in Girard and recently celebrating their 25th anniversary, also by a daughter, Lori (Fisher) Cote (Robert) of Edinboro; two sisters, Gloria Howard (Mike Cunningham) of Malvern, PA, Lisa Kibler of East Springfield; three grandchildren, Krystopher Fisher, Raiden Fisher and Alexis Cote; a niece and his furry children, Tippy, Skippy, and Maggie Mae.
 Friends may call on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Edder Funeral Home, Inc., 309 Main St. East, Girard and are invited to services there on Friday at 10 a.m.
