Shawn G. Morgan, 44 of Millcreek and formerly of Lake City, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday April 8, 2017.

 He was born November 22, 1972 in Erie a son of Carolyn (Kimmy) Morgan Gieza and the late Lawrence “Larry” J. Morgan.

 Shawn grew up in the Girard and Lake City areas. He began his working career at H.W. Neiger Milling Co. in Lake City. He later began working as a Machinist at Lamjen Inc., also Custom Mfg and most recently had been employed at Rapid Mold in Erie.

 Shawn enjoyed fishing in the ponds throughout the West County area. He loved golfing with his buddies at Venango, Riverside and Downing Courses.

 In addition to his mother he is survived by his step father, John Gieza, his long time companion, Jayne Cravener, his brother, Jason B. Morgan (Jennifer) of Girard; a nephew, Ben Morgan, his nieces, Ashley, Mariah and Meghan Morgan, as well as many close friends and family including his close cousin Eric Ortiz.

 Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Edder Funeral Home, Inc., 309 Main St. East Girard.

 Burial services will be held privately by the family.
