Mildred A. "Millie" (Taylor) Myers, 89, went to be with her Lord, Thursday January 5, 2017 at Pleasant Ridge Manor West.

She was born in Girard on February 11, 1927, a daughter of the late George and Dacy (Joslin) Taylor. She was raised and educated in Girard, and took care of her husband and family throughout her life. She also helped others in any way she was able, especially babysitting in her home. She was a member of Girard Alliance Church where she was Deaconess. She enjoyed reading all kinds of magazines.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death be her husband, Clay A. Myers in 2012; her son, Ronald L. Myers; five sisters, Winifred Wiley, Grace Byham, Helen Shafer, Mae Allen and Lucy Platz and three brothers, Warren Taylor, Morse Taylor, and Fay Taylor in infancy.

She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Linda Higgins and her husband Don, her three sons, Gary Myers and his wife Kathy, Alan Myers and Randy Myers, all of Girard; nine grandchildren, Brian C. Higgins (Stephanie), Benjamin Higgins (Kathleen), Brad Higgins, Greg Myers (Kristi), Brett Myers (Lisa), Courtney Myers (Scott Nulman), Matthew Myers, Kristin Rand (Casey), Kelly Myers; fifteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Sunday from 2p.m to 5 p.m.at Edder Funeral Home Inc. 309 Main St. East, Girard and are invited to attend services there on Monday at 10a.m. with Rev. Clyde Davis presiding.
