George L. Manson, Jr., 62 of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday April 20, 2016 at his home, surrounded by his family.

He was born August 30, 1953 in Erie, PA, a son of the late George and Patricia (Sontheimer) Manson.

He was an Electrician with the IBEW Local 56 for 36 years; retiring in 2009.

George was an avid Cleveland Brown and Cleveland Indians fan. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He will be greatly missed by his family, which includes his Wife, Jane Holland Manson; Son, Jonathan Manson of Panama City, FL; Stepdaughter, Jessica (Christopher) Lubenski of Girard; Stepson, Jacob (Ashley) Griffith of Lake City; Sister, Jennifer (Scott) Manley of Erie; Three Granddaughters, Ava, Lilly, and Kinsley.

According to George's wishes, there will be no calling hours observed.
