I was so saddened to read the news about Betti. I had just talked with her about a month ago after not seeing her for ages! I taught a few of the kids in Kdg so we know how long ago that was! But that smile and happy face never changed! She was one of those favorite, unforgettable "moms" I had the pleasure to get to know, and her kids were her source of joy! Her light will be missed. My sympathy to all of you.

Joe and family, I am so sad to hear that Betti has passed and my thoughts and prayers go out to you. Betti and I were best friends growing up and we used to sleep over at each other's house all the time. She was a wonderful giving person and I'll always remember her fondly.

I'm so sad to hear that the amazing woman will not be here to share her genuine love with the world anymore. Betti was the sweetest, most loving person I ever had the fortune to meet. She helped me through a very rough time in my life after my divorce, always ready with a smile, a laugh and a hug.
I genuinely loved her, and she loved everyone. So very proud of her family, beaming when she talked about them, sharing Joe's successes in writing with me, bragging on her children, without even seeming to. Betti's love for you was almost tangible.
