Anita L. “Lou” (Hill) Armagost, 68 of Lake City, died Tuesday March 21, 2017 at her home following a courageous battle with cancer.

 She was born May 26, 1948 in Jamestown, NY, a daughter of the late Joseph and Violet (Post) Hill.

 She was raised and educated in Jamestown and attended the Jamestown High School. Following high school she attended Jamestown Community College where she studied Art.  She began her working career at Dahlstrom Mfg in Jamestown and later went to work for North Coast Tool Mfg. in Erie, where she retired from as a Sheet Metal Fabricator.

 She enjoyed bowling at Westway Lanes for many years, and was proud of her Bowling League Team.

 In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Charles “Al” Ryen and a sister, Joyce Shaffer.

 Lou will be greatly missed by her family, which includes her husband, Lawrence “Larry” J. Armagost, whom she married in 1989 in Jamestown, NY; four sons, Ronald Ryen (Carol), Gilbert Ryen, Robert Ryen (Robyn), Rudy Lee Ryen; a step daughter, Joleen McBride fourteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

 No calling hours or services will be observed.
